First Draft
This is the first draft of my double page spread.
After reviewing it myself, and asking members of my target audience what they thought of it, I have decided to do the following to my first draft:
Production
I created my newspaper advert on Adobe Indesign. I used several tools from this program when making my double page spread.
Gradient
I used the gradient tool to create a colour swatch that went from blue to white. I was then able to edit where the colours would start to fade into each other.

Day 2
Today I implemented the changes I planned to make yesterday. The article now looks better as the layout isn't as busy and the Twitter birds have made the article look more professional. The text size and font change has also made the article look more professional. However, the change in background colour has had the most impact on my article. The article now looks more modern and eye catching.

Day 1
Today I inserted all of the text and images into my double page spread. I have also made some changes. These are as follows:
- I have decided to change some of the fonts around. The heading and main body of text shall now be Arial as I felt OCR A Std made the article look messy and unprofessional.
- I have also decided to change the font size of the lead paragraph to 15pt.
- I now intend to use two extra images of Twitter birds in my double page spread. These will be placed in the bottom right hand corner of the article. I will apply a transparency effect on them so I can place them behind the text.
- After looking at the background of my article, I have decided that just having the blue background is a bit boring. I have therefore decided that I will make the background a blue and white gradient. This will make the spread look more modern and suitable for my target audience.

Manipulation of Images
I had a very clear idea of how I was going to manipulate the images to meet the needs of my double page spread. To make my double page spread look professional, I need to edit some of the images I intend to use. The image which I had to manipulate was:
- the main image of the presenter
