Documentary: Rough Edit Online Feedback Results

A few people provided us with feedback from the questionnaire we put on FaceBook. These are the questions they responded to:

  • What do you think the documentary was about?
  • Did you like the documentary? If not, why?
  • Do you think the documentary appeals to a target audience of 16-19 year olds? If not, why?
  • Would you be interested in watching the rest of the documentary? If not, why?
  • Do you think the documentary has informed you on the topic? If not, why?
  • What was your favourite feature of our documentary? Why?
  • Any other comments?  

This is the feedback we got from our target audience:

From this feedback we have found out the following things:
  • Our target audience thinks we have clearly outlined what the documentary is about.
  • Our target audience likes the documentary, especially the music we have used. However, they have experienced problems and would like the volume increased.
  • Our target audience feels that we have appealed to their tastes well.
  • Our target audience would be interested in watching the documentary after watching the first five minutes we have made.
  • Our target audience feels we should interview more people in our documentary.
  • Our target audience likes the camerawork in the documentary. 

After reviewing the feedback, we can do the following things to improve our documentary:
  • Turn the volume up on the documentary so they will be able to hear it clearly.
  • Interview more people. We could interview teenagers their age and include these interviews as short vox pops.
